The Department of Physics of the University of Patras offers a MSc course program leading to an MSc diploma in one of the following scientific areas:

a) Electronics and Telecommunications;
b) Energy and Environment;
c) Materials Physics;
d) Photonics;
e) Theoretical Computational Physics and Astrophysics.

These areas are part both of classical and modern fields of Physics - theoretical and experiment ones – that cover the needs of modern society and market demands and are also in line with the current research axes of the Department. The program accepts graduates with a diploma in Physic, Mathematics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Informatics from Hellenic or equivalent foreign universities and schools of engineering and also graduates from Technical Educational Institutes. The alumni acquire a very good training in the above fields and get also prepared to eventually continue their studies for a Ph.D. degree.
