The master of Science (MSc) Degree in the following specializations :

  • Applied Biochemistry: Clinical Chemistry, Biotechnology and Evaluation of Pharmaceutical Products.
  • Advanced Polymeric and Nanostructured Materials.
  • Catalysis and Environmental Protection and Clean Energy Production.
  • Analytical Chemistry and Nanotechnology.
  • Environmental Analysis.

In 1/ 4.2.2015 meeting of the Assembly for Postgraduate Studies of the Department of Chemistry approved the modification of the Masters Program, as well as by the Senate of the University of Patras ( 58/14.5.2015 meeting) and the publication in the Government Gazette is expected.

POST-GRADUATE PROGRAM IN CHEMISTRY

The organization and development of post-graduate program in Chemistry is in direct relation with the other Natural Sciences, as well as with Technology, Medicine, Environment and Society. It is vital for social and economic development of our country. The post-graduate program contributes to the advancement of knowledge and technological development in Chemistry. The aim of the program is the upgrading of studies in various disciplines of chemistry with the award of Master Degree (M.Sc.), improving the competitiveness of the Greek scientific potential, and to limit leakage to foreign countries by the best graduates of the Departments of Chemistry and other departments of Greek Universities.

Applicants must hold a Diploma of University Departments of the Faculties of Science, Polytechnics, Health Sciences, Medicine, Geotechnical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences and relevant departments of the Greek Open University and Higher Technological Schools, as well as from Universities abroad.
