Professor Ralli

Professor Angeliki Ralli, Professor of Linguistics in the Department of Philology and a Member of the University Council, was recently elected as a member of Academia Europaea, a prestigious European Non-Governmental Scientific Academy founded in 1988. Professor Ralli, holds an Undergraduate and Graduate Degree in Linguistics from the University of Montreal, and is currently Head of the Laboratory of Modern Greek Dialects, and was proposed by the President of the Department of Linguistic Studies of the Academy, Professer W.U. Dressler. This is the first Greek Researcher in Linguistics who receives this high distinction.
