IEEE joint CAS-SSC Chapters in Greece is a vibrant organization with
members from both academia and industry, including highly skilled
professionals and experienced researchers as well as students and
young scientists. The aim of the IEEE CAS-SSC Chapters in Greece is to provide
special services to its members that will firstly be beneficial to their
professional evolution and secondly add extra value to their IEEE
subscription.
The regional role of the Chapters is not omitted. Thus,
domestic issues are considered, founding collaborations with local
institutions and organizations, that will increase the Chapter's
influence. This will eventually provide to our 300 members (approximately)
recognition and privileges.
The Chapter's
activities are generally categorized in lectures, events and members'
communication. Each year a number of lectures are given by experts in
selected issues that interest the Chapter's members. The invited lecturers
are either Distinguished IEEE Lecturers or lecturers provided from the
collaborating organizations and industry. The events are mainly focused on
making the Chapter's activities .
