The program aims to provide high quality graduate education through the use of knowledge and experience of the faculty members of the Department and with special participation of experts and eminent scientists from other universities or institutions of the country and from abroad.

The provision of adequate theoretical and practical training for a skilled scientific staff able to deal responsibly with organizing, processing and further development of biomedical services is expected to have a direct or indirect positive impact on social and economic development within the country.

The program provides a course of study (four semesters) in the following six directions:

  • Medical Biochemistry-Immunology
  • Molecular Genetics - Cytogenetics
  • Neurosciences
  • Molecular Anatomy-Molecular Histopathology
  • Pharmacology- Toxicology
  • Stem cells and Regenerative Medicine

and leads to a diploma qualification in Biomedical Sciences.

The postgraduate course accepts graduates of Schools of Health Science, and graduates of Departments of School of Sciences and Polytechnic Schools, from domestic universities and foreign recognized institutions. Also, accepts graduates of Departments of Technical Institutions associated with the Biomedical Sciences.
