The Department of Mathematics of the University of Patras offers a one-year graduate program which awards a Master’s Degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics.

The main objective of this program is to provide high quality education in pure and applied mathematics in order to prepare students either for further research in mathematics or for professional careers in mathematical sciences and related fields.  The courses offered range from algebra, analysis, and geometry to differential equations and mathematical modeling.

A written thesis is required.  The number of admissions is up to 20 students.  There are no tuition fees.
