Short CV:
Assoc. Prof. Betül Gülşen graduated from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Hacettepe University, Türkiye. She completed her master’s degree in Dietetics and her PhD in Food Engineering, and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2021.
She began her professional career in the clinical field and worked as a dietitian in various hospitals for 22 years. During this period, she specialized in enteral and parenteral nutrition, pediatric nutrition, and nutrition therapy in surgical and internal medicine services.
In 2018, she became a founding member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Toros University, where she currently serves as the head of department and a faculty member. She teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels and supervises numerous master’s theses. She has numerous publications in national and international scientific journals and presentations at scientific meetings, particularly in the field of clinical nutrition and dietetics.
