Στο πλαίσιο του Erasmus+ Teaching and Training HIGHER EDUCATION –INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY, το Πανεπιστήμιό μας μέσω των Τμημάτων Χημείας και Φαρμακευτικής συνεργάζεται με το Πανεπιστήμιο του Sfax, στην Τυνησία.

Ο Καθηγητής του Πανεπιστημίου Sfax (Τυνησία) κ. Noureddine Allouche επισκέπτεται το Πανεπιστήμιό μας αυτή τη βδομάδα, και θα δώσει μία διάλεξη.

Visiting Professor Noureddine  ALLOUCHE Bio

Pr. Noureddine ALLOUCHE is a full professor in chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax (FSS) and Head of the Natural Substances Team in the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry. His research activity is documented by about 140 scientific peer-reviewed papers (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Noureddine_Allouche) with an h-index of 28 and 2500 citations, 2 chapters in two books, and 2 patents, dealing with the extraction, isolation, identification, and biological activities of natural substances as well as treatment, bioconversion and valorization of industrial wastes.  He leads a research group of more than 20 researchers. He has supervised 15 Ph.D. (and 4 are in progress), 42 M.Sc., and many diploma theses especially in cosmetic master.

Prof Noureddine ALLOUCHE in his Ph.D. Thesis (2000-2005) dealt with the treatment and valorization of olive mill waste. He has performed a Post-doc training (2006-2007) in the Institute of Natural Products Chemistry of CNRS, Gif-sur-Yvette, France. He participated in an INCO-MED project ”contract ICA3-CT2002-10033” (2002-2004) entitled: ”New technologies for olive mill wastewater detoxification and product recovery”. Prof. ALLOUCHE was/is a national coordinator of four European projects:  FP7, ARIMNET, H2020 and Erasmus+:

  • CINEA, FP7 project, (2013-2016) entitled: “EU-MED Cooperation to foster Innovation and Exploitation in the Agro-Food Domain”.
  • StomP, ARIMNET project, (2016-2019) entitled: “Sustainable Tomato Production: plant defense enhancement, development of new biopesticides and optimization of environmental, water and chemical inputs”.
  • MediHealth, H2020 project, (2016-2020): “Novel natural products for healthy ageing from Mediterranean diet and food plants of other global sources”.
  • Erasmus+ (KA 107) project, (2017-2020): “Mobility for learners and stuff- Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility”; a project between the University of Sfax (Tunisia) and the University of Berlin (Germany).
