Σχετικά με τον ομιλητή: Fokion Sinis is Greek-Canadian, a Pharmacist and a Health Economist with diverse experience in different aspects of the pharmaceutical business with roles varying from Government & Politics to NGOs and Industry (Commercial, Market Access, Government Affairs, Business Development) at different levels ranging from global HQ functions to affiliate operations in 7 countries. He is currently the General Manager for Sanofi Vaccines in Greater Gulf Multi-Country Organization (GCC Countries), a ~100m€ business with leadership in the areas of paediatric, meningitis and influenza vaccines. Prior to this, he was Commercial Head for Sanofi in Greater Gulf working across GBUs looking after Specialty Care, General Medicines, Vaccines and Consumer Healthcare portfolios. Fokion has started his career in Brussels as a lobbyist for the Pharmaceutical Group of EU & he then moved to the European Medicines Agency in London looking after Public Information and Stakeholder Networking to complete his EU Insitutitions’ journey. His first experience in the pharmaceutical industry was with Novartis Oncology at their Headquarters in Basel in the area of Pricing and Market Access for Emerging Markets. He then moved to Novo Nordisk where for 7 years he worked in Global Pricing and Market Access Strategy at their Headquarters in Denmark and then in Business Development, Market Access, Commercial Strategy & Marketing for Africa across Diabetes and Rare Disease portfolio including a period that he was interim Country Manager for Nigeria. His last job before joining Sanofi was as Business Unit Director for Obesity products for Novo Nordisk in Spain. He is highly motivated, enthusiastic & keen to make a positive impact on Public Health & play a significant part in bringing medicines & vaccines to the public.
